Saturday, April 29th Men’s Doubles Event and Women’s Doubles Event
Sunday, April 30th Mixed Doubles Event

                                       TOURNAMENT RULES:

• Tournament play will be round robin games to 11, win by 2 points.
• Teams will switch ends of the court once a team reaches 6 points.
• 1 time-out of 60 seconds is allowed per team / per game.
• Round robin play will determine placement in a bracket as teams play for the championship.
• Following round robin pool play in each division, teams will be placed in a single elimination bracket to play for the championship.  The tournament director reserves the right to determine the number of participants in the bracket playoff based on time and number of teams in an event.
• Bracket play will be a single game to 11, win by 2 points up to the semi-finals.
• Semi-finals will be a single game to 15, win by 2 points.
• Finals will be 2 out of 3 games to 11, win by 2 points.
• This format is “time-permitting”. Tournament director reserves the right to adjust the format for time concerns/limitations.

Saturday
9:00 a.m. ALL Men’s 3.5 and ALL Women’s 3.0 doubles begin (round robin play begins at 9:00 a.m., player meeting on the courts at 8:45 a.m., check-in prior to this at the time that you want)

11:30 a.m. ALL Men’s 4.0+ Doubles begin (players should be checked in 30 minutes prior to this). Matches can be called earlier that 11:30 a.m. if we have court space available.

1:30 p.m. ALL Men’s 3.0 Doubles begin (players should be checked in 30 minutes prior to this). Matches can be called earlier than 1:30 p.m. if we have court space available.

3:30 p.m. ALL Women’s 3.5/4.0 Doubles begin (players should be checked in 30 minutes prior to this). Matches can be called earlier than 3:30 p.m. if we have court space available).

Sunday:
9:00 a.m. ALL 3.5 Mixed teams begin (player meeting at 8:45 a.m., check-in prior to this at the time you choose.

11:15 a.m. ALL 4.0 Mixed teams begin (players need to be checked in 30 minutes prior as we can call matches if there are courts available).

1:00 p.m. ALL 3.0 Mixed teams begin (players need to be checked in 30 minutes prior as we can call matches if there are courts available).

Registration for One Event Early Bird: $35 per person

• Want to play both Mixed Doubles and Men’s/Women’s Doubles Events?  $45 early bird registration fee per person to play both Events
• Each player must register themselves

Format is round robin play to bracketed playoff – double elimination.

Players are not allowed to play in multiple same gender Events.

This is not a sanctioned tournament.

No official rating is required.

The tournament director reserves the right to change the tournament format and combine skill levels.

No refunds.

Brackets will be posted Wednesday, April 26th at  noon at CROSSservices.org/events/pickleball2023 and rogerstennisclub.com
